Looks like a Smackdown, but do you happen to know the date of that episode? Wouldn't mind checking out that segment.

    It's actually 13 years ago. May 20th 2000.

2000 was already 13 years ago.....

That's amazing. But the product of 2013 compared to 13 years ago in 2000 is extremely similar in many ways, especially when you compare the products of 2000 to 13 years earlier, 1987, they are galaxies apart.

Yeah, production-wise, WWE hasn't changed much in over a decade. Show kicks off with long promo that sets up main event, backstage promos, multiple vignettes with authority figure, matches end with the distraction finish and one of them bails out of the ring, or wrestler wins decisively and poses over knocked-out wrestler. The only real difference is U-rated antics, and the extra hour which means more time recapping/video packages/shilling the WWE app.

Ah the WWE App has to be the biggest change of them all! No such nonsense in 1987. It's only a matter of time before WWE re-release Wrestlemania 3 with a voice-edited Gorilla Monsoon telling the viewer at home to download the WWE App to download photos of Hogan bodyslamming Andre.

Ring of Honor's new sponsor is a sex phone line instead of say low level sponsers like restaurants, car dealerships, con job insurance companies which has resulted in this poster:

In a roundabout way, you can blame Kevin Smith for this.

Seen this on Raw. Not that it makes any sense to me.

Debatable, but ever since he went off on having Fleshlight as a sponsor for his podcast, you see these kind of endorsements popping up. Joe Rogan went and did it too.

    WE ARE 18

Rob Feinstein is probably behind that sex phone line. That sneaky devil.

Wouldn't it be 'We are 14', then?

WE Are 18 would be like a cover for him. It just seems like a dodgy name don't you think?
