Her Wrestlemania outfit was hilariously bad.

She still usually looks hot though.

    That's completely unfair on Jerry.

Could easily have been looking at AJ's.

Apparently they were disrespectful while working for WWE didn't shake hands and introduce themselves which Booker complained about

Every side has their own story - and I think some people have changed their stories a couple of times.

Rob Van Dam disliked the Bucks from their TNA days calling them arrogant and disrespectful (of all people label someone arrogant). Booker T got wind of that assessment and decided to give the Bucks an attitude during their WWE tryout. What further didn't help the Bucks is that in contrast to their public image they are two Christian boys from a close family who tend to keep to themselves. So while they are just sitting together chatting and keeping their nose clean in the canteen or whatever you had Wrestlers thinking they were being stuck up.

Nick and Matt have a good rep on the Indy scene as nice lads.

Very accurate assessment I'd say they are shy enough guys who would be slow to approach well known stars and not out of rudeness or arrogance

  • Registered Users Posts: 468 ✭✭duuuaaaane

They were standing in Gorilla at a Smackdown tapings and were off to the side, Nick had one hand leaning on the wall and didn't realise that Booker's jacket was hanging up. Booker came out grabbed the jacket and cut a promo on them and then in the following days said that they were disrespectful and didn't shake hands with anybody.

So I think Booker blew it all up based on (his very good friend) RVD's opinion of him and did what he could to prevent them from getting a job.

As the comment above stats, they are from a very close family - both married with very young kids and have said that due to this they wouldn't accept a WWE deal - and couldn't move to Florida.

In the wrestling business, when it's your first day at a promotion, it's tradition to go around the locker room and shake everyone's hand. You look them in the eye, introduce yourself, and shake hands. It's part of the mentality of the locker room and is considered disrespectful not to, especially if it was a veteran like Booker T. It doesn't matter if they keep to themselves, tradition is what matters in the locker room. Imagine if they did that when Undertaker was a full time wrestler, and the APA were around. They'd be f*cked big time.

But then if you walked in all confident and did exactly that someone would have something to say about you being cocky, wrestling is a baffling business at times.

That whole wrestlers court thing is laughable as well.

    In fairness.

Handshaking is a custom that's dying off.

You can get heat for interrupting a conversation too.

To match the new Nation gimmick, Kofi will be playing the part of D-Lo Brown and Big E will be playing the part of Kama.

About time Kofi did something new. He changed his ring gear to the long tights about a year ago and that was the first bit of character development he had since he stopped being Jamaican.

If its a new Nation style faction, so what ppl have been complaining for yrs that the lower/mid card guys have no storylines and now they are doing something, ppl will complain they are just copying the Nation. WWE can't win with some ppl.

Maybe Charles Robinson just emptied out his pockets and gave it back to him!?

Have you ever seen anytime kofi's in a match - he's always losing his hair! Then the ref sneakily slides over and sticks it in his pocket!

Funny thing is that TNA did something very similar recently with MVP, Lashley and Kenny King. Had it happened the other way around, you'd never hear the end of TNA copying WWE again.

Simply put, it's all about being courteous and respectful. Obviously if you go in with a chip on your shoulder or an attitude it would get you a lot of heat with the boys. Same with being cocky too, and it would be even worse if you were a cocky kid coming in from the indies acting like you're Mr big shot or something.

As for the wrestlers court stuff. It's mainly just to keep everyone in line. If someone had gotten some heat or did something disrespectful they would be called into question. I remember reading the Hardy Boyz' book and they talked about how on a plane once they took two first class seats that weren't theirs. It was when they were still being managed by Michael Hayes, and he convinced them they could take the first class seats because they had earned it or something. But the boys in the back thought they were getting a little big headed and they summoned them to wrestlers court for it. The Hardyz got off lightly but apparently Michael Hayes got the heat because it was his fault. Either way I can see some positives and negatives to the wrestling court stuff. Don't think they do it anymore though.

You mean in the wrestling business or in general? As far as i'm aware wrestlers still shake hands. I'd say it's one tradition that's not really dying out tbh. A lot of the old school traditions are dying off alright though. Don't think wrestlers today are really down with the old school stuff, but the veterans still in the business still stick them.

The ROH locker room has decided to scrap the custom for example. It is a movement.

The handshake thing also had a purpose beyond being respectful. The type of handshake you gave used indicate how you worked, so a strong handshake meant you worked stiff, weak meant you worked light etc...
