I have a big interest in DCG, chemistry, physics, and geography.

What course would be suitable for that selection of subjects? (Please don't say engineering again...:o)

Undenominated science would cover physics, chemistry and some aspects of geography. Its offered in a few colleges, qualifax.ie will have the details.

Do you have any idea what sort of area you'd like to go into in any of these subjects (teaching, etc)? If you knew what kind of job you'd be interested in afterwards it might help you make your decision.

I'd hate to be stuck in an office all day. I'd perfer working in maybe a factory or maybe a lab.

Sounds like civil engineering tbh :p

Otherwise undenominated science and maybe think about being a material chemist?

Your not gonna get a course that fits them all so ill suggest some from individuals.I'll avoid Engineering seeing as you dont want it.

Chemistry no matter what you do you'll end up in a lab pretty much and general science degree can lead you to a pure Chemistry degree as they all specialise further into them, they merely start of as general degrees.
I for one did Biological & Chemical Sciences.Im doing Microbiology atm..some of my friends are doing straight Chemistry,Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Forensic Chemistry all from the same degree.

Physics..well a lot of Math Science courses have a lot of Physics involved in them..most maths degrees that i know people in do a fair amount of Physics.

DCG..only obvious thing seems to be architecture.

Geography..Not sure if there are Straight Geography degrees, you'll probably have to do Arts..or Environmental Science might interest you more.

If you have a strong interest in science and want to work in a lab go for it, don't be like the rest of us getting arts degrees and being left on the scrap heap doing nothing or something we don't want to do :P

I mean science, something you like + loads of job ops, score!
