    Hi all

I found a beautiful mahogany hall table in an antique shop today for 25euro which is amazing!! But I have full intention of painting it (most likely white) it was the style and size that drew me to it. Im looking for advice please on the steps I should undertake to prepare it before it gets its 1st coat! Is it just a case of sanding it & applying a couple of coats or am I a bit disillusioned as it is mahogany veneer?

    Thanks a mil:)
