Tesco/Pogues ruined Christmas

    Have just seen a new TV ad for Tesco with the Pogue's Fairytale of New York as the background music. Is this a case of complete artistic sell out or every little helps for Shane Mc Gowan and Co?

    The rights to using songs in commercials can be complicated.

    Shane MacGowan might not have the advertising rights to the song.
