    Jack Wilshere? Based on what?

His performances for Arsenal and England.
What else could it be based on?

The lad has about 2 premier league goals scored in 3 seasons is injury prone and is one of Englands best players, if someine said he has the potenial to be then I might agree.

    Back in the title race

ppfffttt....ye were never in it to begin with;)

i'd have J Defoe over Sturridge all day long and he's only a squad player for us

    More to football than goals....:pac:

He however, is not England's best player. He will be though imo. I think it's either Rooney or Cole

On form, its either Gabby Agbonlahor, Hart or Micah Richards. How Richards isn't the regular RB for England, i dont know...

I've already stated Gabby twice above, of course there is alot more to football than goals, I watch alot of Arsenal games and he is one for the future

Danny Sturridge certainly doesn't fit into that class.

Wilshere has caught the Out for 6 weeks, no 3 months, no 6 months, no the season, Arsenal muscle go bang syndrome.

And he'll never reach the heights he should do.

Disgraceful behaviour that will as usual go unnoticed and yet when suarez has a moan at a ref, it's as though the world is going to end

Now whilst I hate seeing this happening, don't go over the top. You have a good point to make and if you cut out the wumming posters will take heed instead of dismissing you entirely.

The players were very frustrated with some of the decisions in particular the ridiculous penalty. In fact the linesman did not have nearly the view the ref had.
But yes that behaviour should not be tolerated.
Let's see what tomorrow brings before we go judging players in a top 4 game.

Yeah, its because when Suarez moans we all jump on him. Thats not why I see people hating on Suarez.
And if it was, then fcuk it, we've all seen Barca players hound the ref after a tackle/or dive, and most people say nothing.

From what I've seen, people hate on Suarez because he dives and if he doesn't get a free for it he complains.

And if he gets fouled people complain, as he has a reputation of going down easy. But its not unlikely for players to go up to a ref after a game complaining about it, we all know it won't change anything, but it happens, its just United players who do it.

Hell, what Dalglish was caught saying to Wenger last year was disgraceful, and mostly went unnoticed, but if Fergie said that to another manager then there'd be uproar

    Very good point there.
If that was said to a player of a rival team or a linesman or ref he would have been banned.
I never understood why he got away with it. Especially because SAF and UTD are the only ones who get away with anything in the PL!

Oh FFS. If he was a player he would not have been banned. Get over yourself. Not a very good point at all.

The ref handled it well by backing off but if ever any of them want to literally "take a stand" then this surrounding the ref would stop as it would appear to be physical interference.

    Awful decision by the way.

I just find it funny considering the guy did absolutely nothing when he came on, hasn't played for United in how long? And he's one of the lads in the refs face :pac:

Hell, what Dalglish was caught saying to Wenger last year was disgraceful, and mostly went unnoticed, but if Fergie said that to another manager then there'd be uproar

Are we really at a stage where the phrase ''piss off'' can be described as disgraceful?

Liverpool got a pen late on, and Wenger started moaning to Dalglish about the decision. Firstly, Dalglish didn't award it, and secondly, if you remember it, its extremely unlikely Wenger could have seen it properly from the bench. Dalglish obviously wasn't interested in Wenger's whining, and said as much

Fans always complain about how easily players go down, how you can't tackle anymore, that football used to be a contact sport, and yet suddenly there's all these people offended by the phrase ''piss off''. So which way do you want it?

For all the cheating, diving and Tevez-like petulance in the Premier League, its pretty sad that people either genuinely or in looking for a way to criticise another manager, act offended by this.

Similar in alot of ways to the Rooney incident with the camera last year. Football for the most part is a working class game, if you're offended by swear words, go watch cricket, polo, rugby or something. As Liam Gallagher said about the Rooney incident, ''I'm sure it caused huge offence to all the little Sebastian's in private school's around London''

Not that it makes any difference to me personally but iirc he also told him to f@#k off.

I fail to see how people can be offended by either when you hear some of the chants from the fans.
    Edit:here it is

Poor decision for Penalty, but in fairness we have got rub of green before.

We still had enough chances to win the game and failed to take them. Disappointing.

We had enough chances to win around 5 games!

No where near clinical enough yesterday.

The only plus about yesterday was at least we did create chances to actually win the game unlike say during the week against Benifca, where I can only remember one chance after they got it to 2-2.

Just one of those days that nothing would go in.

Before we may have been good enough to get points like that back, but the way we are playing at minute, it's hard to be confident.
