    I presume you mean why can't you start a new thread, in which case you clearly can.

    I tried to start a thread earlier and it wouldnt let me and banned was one of the reasons, thanks 4 the prompt reply

    One of the reasons, but not the reason. If you could even view the forum enough to see the new thread button, then you're clearly not banned from there. At a guess I'd say you tried to post in the soccer forum.
