Few suggestions to improve the last Inferno before 2012 Edition drops.

1: Let's really send AE off the right way by playing Super instead this time.

2: Since the turnout is in all probability going to be small since AE is a pile of garbage lets run a teams tourney too.

3: Instead of running Sf4 Singles and Sf4 Teams, lets do SF4 singles and UMVC3 singles.

PS. To the person who is going to post Marvel is already played at Doc so there isnt any need to play it at inferno..... you sir are a fool.

Won't be at it, but I approve of a Super tourney.

All 3 kinds of SF4 should be played in separate tournaments. Vanilla, Super and AE tournaments in a street fighter 4 mega tournament :D

Why play Super when we can play Vanilla?

Actually, why play SF4 when we can play Ex Plus Alpha?

    Why stop there?

Lets only play SF1 on the original arcade machine with the giant mashable pressure sensitive buttons.

Lets not get side tracked. Just Ex plz.

I dont care what we play as long as its Ex plus alpha. I think AE is a good game. Better than Super but not half as good as Vanilla. Just my two cents.

Funny how your ranking of the 3 versions of SF4 perfectly correlates to how strong (broken) Sagat was in each version.

Also Super is so obviously the best version of SF4 that its not even a debate.

I could say the same about you and Honda.

Vanilla is by far the best. Sagat or no Sagat.

Just do brackets from the start for all three versions. Sounds cool.

Super was the gayest sh!t on earth, AE is definitely better but still cheeks in comparison.

Ryu > Guile = good game.

Guile > Ryu = crap game.

Any game where charge characters arent awful is crap, is that it?

Nah, everyone was moaning about vanilla incessently until about 3 months ago.

Suddenly it's the second coming of Super Turbo.

Which everyone moaned about when it came out too :)

  • Registered Users Posts: 11,006 ✭✭✭✭chopperbyrne

I thought Vanilla was great when it came out and still do.

    I prefer Super though.

Vanilla games were more heavily zoning-orientated, combos were longer/took lots of timing, and damage was much higher.

We've realised that this is what made SFIV good despite the imbalances.

Wouldn't say everyone moaned about it, sagat/ryu players are almost exclusively going to prefer vanilla, the game was just built for them.
