Turf depot Ballyfermot

Hi folks, would anyone have a photo of the turf depot on Lally rd, Ballyfermot.
The site is now home to the Sarsfield Racing Pigeon Club and we are looking for an old photo to frame and put on the wall, also any old photos from the piner ect would be most welcome.

Have your tried the local history section of the Library in Tallaght - might be worth a call. They have a historical photographic archive. No idea whether what you are looking for would be in there but it would be worth a look.

i grew up on Lally road just up from the Turf Depot. Have you had any luck with getting a photo of it? i'd love a copy of it if you have.

No mate, have been trawling sites up and down the net, nothing.
I would say someone who lived beside it would have some kind of old photo but havent found them yet.
