    Hi,
    Can anyone advise as to what would be the best type of video camera to invest in for shooting commercial/promo videos which would then be uploaded to a website.

    I would say that for a commercial/promo video the camera is the least important element.

    A professional with a basic camera will always produce a better end product than an amateur with a top of the range one.

    There is a board on photography where you should get much better relevant advice than on here.
