"books with up to 65% off" etc
this is not just for book btw lots of other deals!

Oh no...

first off, install CamelCamelCamel. Its for Firefox and will show you older prices on the Amazon store. Youll see then how they raise the prices just before the sale and then drop them again to the old price (and sometimes more) to make it seem like its cheaper.

Second, they are always 90% junk. Id be very suprised if Amazon could sell something decent on sale.

I'll still watch this, but Id be wary.

Its a plugin. Safe as houses too. It runs in the bottom right of the browser; when you are on an item, click the camel and it shows you what the prices were in the past.

no need to instal camelx3 if your using IE. Just go to www.camelcamelcamel.com and insert the item url into the search bar and away you go

Hope so, I'll be gifting garden spades this x'mas.

The website works with any browser (well Firefox at least)

It's very interesting looking at the price chart of an item, they mess with prices more than supermarkets!

Perfect example. They are using this in their 12 days of Christmas thing. The price has been up and down like a whooers knickers. Its been this price several times before and raised just before the 'sale'.
