    'Meet the Graduates' Event

    The Event

    You are warmly invited to attend the inaugural Student Alumni Initiative (SAI) 'Meet the Graduates' event, on Tuesday, 29th November 2011, from 5pm in The Space, The Helix. The SAI will be joined by a panel of graduate speakers, and students will have the opportunity to engage and network with Alumni of DCU. Students will be also given the opportunity to ask questions at the Q&A session. The event will be followed by an informal reception with light refreshments.

    Caroline Kennedy

    Founder, Kennedy PR

    Caroline Kennedy holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Communications Studies from DCU and went on to found Kennedy PR in 1992. Kennedy PR has built a reputation as a leader and influencer in strategic communications and marketing for luxury consumer and lifestyle brands and multinational corporations.



    Patrick Burke

    Partner, Grant Thornton

    Patrick Burke holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Accounting and Finance and a MBS in Accounting from DCU and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland (ICAI). Patrick joined Grant Thornton in 1996 and was appointed partner in 2003. Patrick has worked extensively with some of the firm’s largest clients including listed companies, multinationals and many significant indigenous entrepreneurial companies across a broad spectrum of industries.

    Gay White

    Director of Development, Institute of Bankers in Ireland

    Gay White holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Psychology from DCU and is a member of the DCU Alumni Council. A Registered Occupational Psychologist, Gay is an energetic HR professional whose background spans consultancy, project management, management development, change management, HR management, coaching and Learning & Development. She is registered on the FAS National Register of Trainers and has a range of clients, public and private sector, both in Ireland and the UK.


    About the SAI

    The Student Alumni Initiative was developed in 2010 to allow students to become more involved with the Alumni Association. The Student Alumni Initiative is a group of students from across campus. Our mission is to work with the Alumni office to connect students past, present, and future.We are about creating opportunities for Alumni to come back to campus and interact with students at events that are of interest to everyone.
