Smartphone recommendation

HI My daughter wants a smartphone for her (14th) birthday. She has Meteor sim. Meteor are doing a deal on the Samsung Galaxy mini - €79. She is allowed E20 for credit every month - pay as you go. Does anyone have any recommendations? Will she still get the free texts (with Meteor) if she uses all the credit on facebook etc…

As long as she doesnt change number it will stay the same,meteor charge 69 cent a day for 50mb net usage,although they do have a special offer now where you get 3 months net usage free.
