Should we pay our politicians more?

    We have lots to be thankful for. Our deficit is smaller than Greece, as is our unemployment rate, and Enda has managed to remain sober for all of his public engagements so far. Does anyone think there's grounds to give them a pay-rise, in token of appreciation?

    We should pay them nothing. Almost to a man they're already independently wealthy and are only even there for their own vested interests.

    No, I agree that FG aren't doing a bad job considering the mess they were left with but if anything they should take a pay cut given the hard austerity measures they're bringing in
