New Build, Cool Case?

Im building a new computer, the parts are all compatable but i cant decide on a good case, it has to be ATX compatible and i like tecky stuff. Any sugjestions?

Looks cool but not alot of outputs, is it just the 2 usb outputs?

I'd stay away from NZXT to be honest. The Phantom is a step in the right direction, but they're still following the same philosophy: looks first, quality second.

Stick with Corsair, Antec, Cooler Master, Lian-Li. Known brands. Bitfenix is making quite a name for itself in the budget sector as of late as well.

I'm not a fan of the Phantom personally, I think what you get is very over-priced.

Sorry, not specific enough. I said €85 but id say max €100, even if over that ( if epic ) it will be cosidered

yeah 2 USB ports on the front. I find 2 on the front is enough (you'll have however many is on your board i/o on the back too)

I also like that the front i/o (incl. on/off and usb etc) is located at the top rather than middle like on some cases.

I'm having no heat problems with my Define XL and it's got nice sound proofing. Sure there are cooler cases out there but I don't want to sacrifice silence for more cooling really.

Well it's 103£ on scan.co.uk so it's around 115eu.

To be honest it has everything that others have, plus very sleek design. One of the reasons I want to I for it, because it has very even surface. I freaking hate all this cases with so stupidly complicated forms. They just look like dust traps!

It's a matter of taste, but I don't think this case is that bad as people giving it such bad name.

I am thinking of corsair 500R myself as alternative to phantom.

I think at the moment, anything by NZXT or Corsair is really the best way to go. From day one corsair have been getting it right and their Carbide series are awesome. Big enough for a Republic of Gamers card and then some, excellent cooling, and they generally look very nice; sleek and great looking, without looking too boring or plain, and also on the other hand not looking really gimmicky and "whambamthankyouma'am".

The 400R is also a great case with alot of the same features, a bit smaller and no USB 3.0.
