Where to get real Xmas trees?

Getting nearer now and i want to buy a real piney Xmas tree. I know they have them at Leopardstown is there anywhere near the city centre that sells them in the run-up to Xmas. Approx €40 ???

Far to early, wait until sat 10/12/11 and they will be on sale in every garage, street corner, they only last 2/3 weeks at the very most even in a bucket of water.

If you live in D8, 6, 6W or 12 you could buy your tree from Kevins Hurling Club, who'll be selling trees from a shop on Harolds Cross Rd beside Rosie O'Gradys - all profits will go to the club

Last year I got mine up past Johnnie Foxes in the Dublin Mountains, there's a Christmas tree farm there and you can get any size you want for €25. You pick the one you want and they come and cut it for you. Does anyone know if it's open this year?

A friend told me about this place which will deliver, set up and dispose of the tree for you -- quite pricey but saves a lot of the hassle...

You can usually sell them in the small park Kennilworth Square, Rathgar beside Rathmines or harolds Cross. I'm pretty sure the proceeds go to charity.
