Advice re oven

We bought a sm*g oven (dual fuel) almost 10 years ago - not cheap - and have had to replace various parts on it over the years. Now the main oven is not working as first the fan went then the main controller board. The distributors can't provide the part as we have no serial number for it (seems it should be visible on a sticker but we have looked and it is not).

Assuming we eventually get the right parts, they are quite expensive. OH believes we should replace it with a new (anything other than sm*g) cooker. I think we should get more than 10 years out of it! And we don't have the money to replace it right now. And we're getting tired of pasta :-) Any suggestions of a cheap way of fixing or resolving the oven dilemma?

Do yourself a favour and bin it, 10 years most manufactureres would put the appliance on a "reduced parts list", if you do get the parts and fork out a lump of money for them who's to say that the other 10 year old parts wont follow, its a trap lots of people fall into, dont be one of them.

Thats pretty much what OH says, especially given the amount of things that have gone wrong on it to date... Thanks !
