I'll start, David Norris, nice guy, he gave me a sweet that he got from a health shop opposite where I work, some ginger flavoured thing.... it was mingin'. John Aldridge, sound as a pound, fact! Russel Brand.... eyed up my missus, seemed a nice guy too though, I was sat directly behind him at the airport, Brian McFadden.... too big of a star to even eyeball me... yeah right, bumped into him a few times strangely enough.

I met and spotted a few celebs but you can't really say whether or not they were nice because that is kind of expected if you are in the public eye. Most famous people will try and act nice around their fans but thats just because they don't want their reputation spoiled, hence why I posted that thread in AH a while back and not here.

I met Nadine Coyle and Shane Filan of Girls Aloud and Westlife respectively. Both were really nice, let me get photos and all that. Nadine was particularly cool as she seemed to be in no rush, like any other stars with album signings I went to.

Also met JLS, Wonderland and Jedward all seemed to be in a hurry to get through the crowd but I'd imagine they would've been decent enough if they had time to speak with everyone.

Also met Ryan Tubridy recently at Saint Vincent de Paul house in Dublin, sound enough guy and I'm saying this at a push seen as how I only met him for a minute. He took time to get photos with most of the crowd and it wasn't difficult because there was only like 30 of us in the room, I didn't bother asking him for his autograph as I don't really care too much for autographs anymore.

Met Bill Cullen also who was a bit not living on Earth I should say. I just told him it should be great to be the first Irish astronaut and he was like "it will be great":P.

Noel Gallagher also walked past me and gave me a thumbs up when I turned up outside his gig at the Olympia in Dublin just last October. Still wish he signed for us but I think he was in a hurry back to his hotel to see the Man U/Man City match. Probably should've gone to the British gigs, I know from youtube videos he signed and met with fans there.

At Oxegen last year I met the Saw Doctors, Fox Avenue and a few more in the Hot Press signing tent, all were nice enough.

Saw Ronan Keating in Liffey Valley many years ago too but back then I had no clue who he was. It was on a school trip, the teacher I was with always used to run into celebrities.

I met Jedward at a signing in Galway. Tere were class. The bodyguards were trying to keep us moving but the twins were like...no stop we're not done. And we were only talking about thir Nike shoes lol. Cool guys. They have time for their fans :)

Met Mary MacAlese in Rome. She was friendly, and her husband too. Small talk but that's what the president has to do when they meet dozens of randomers at these events lol.

Met the Jersey Shore cast in the streets of Florence while they were filming. Ronnie was cool, Sammie was ok ( :/ ) but Jenni (Jwoww) was the loveliest of them all. She wa really kind!

I met Adele outside on the street before her gig in Oslo in March. She had no make up on and was smoking. She looked exhausted but was incredibly nice and took pictures and even put us on the guestlist for her gig in Dublin.

I stood beside David Beckham in a small HMV branch in Manchester a few years back. He smelt great.

Darren Brass of Miami Ink fame in Toronto airport. Didn't say anything, he was on his mac and was listening to music.

Michael O'Muircheartaigh- Nicest man in the world, had a chat about the state of Leitrim football.

Ryan Tubridy- Bumped into him while on work experience in RTE. Our conversation verbatim was:

Me: Oh (startled noise usually made by nervous goats).

    (Few seconds pause)

Tubbers: I have that effect on people.

That's all he said before walking away! TRUE STORY

I met Brian McFadden when I was about 10 or 11 and he was really nice as far as I can remember! Same with Ronan Keating!

I met Donal Skehan before he was on telly, he was in a band and they were singing and selling CDs on the street one day, really nice guy!

Met Brian O Driscoll a couple of years ago.. Quite rude I have to say and I've heard it said about him before.

Bressie is a really lovely guy too! :P

Met the Dragon's Den, Black Tie guy, Niall (I think). He's sound for someone who gets pestered incessantly by such imbeciles.

Vincent Browne; doesn't take life too seriously, a true academic.

Mick McCarthy, gentlemen and I've been a fan of his ever since. Top guy

Brian McFadden, used to see him around as he visited his mother in Artane in Dublin. Sound guy

Kerry Katona, muppet. All the locals around Artane were less then impressed. Snotty attitude and wearing sunglasses on dark overcast days. Wouldn't even look at you if you hello
McFadden was well rid of her

Patrick Bergin, from Tipp and a "do you know who I am" attitude. Not a fan

Martin Sheen, his mother is from Borrisokane in Tipp. Absolute gentleman and I've never ever heard or read anyone say a bad word against him

Martin Kemp. Spandau Ballet had reformed and were playing the Point. I met him outside the Clarion in the IFSC, had a quick chat. Met my lunch buddy and went into the bar for lunch. Martin came in a few minutes later with his wife and every lady in the place turned to look at him. Hey, he's a handsome guy

Patrick Bergin is a Dub.A friend of mine was an extra in Strength and Honour and he said Bergin was an unfriendly get.Michael Madsen, who was also in the movie was the complete opposite and was very approachable.

One that I really liked was David Attenborough. I acted as his interpreter at a televised book-signing event, when he took questions from the audience, in Helsinki in the 1990s. He was presenting the Finnish edition of his book "Life on Earth" and we had a good long chat at the publisher's office beforehand and found him a really charming and admirable person. I still have a copy of the book, autographed "Thank you for making me understandable to the Finns, David Attenborough", that he gave me.:):)

What a great experience! I love David Attenborough. He's actually one of a few famous people that I'd love to meet, even just to shake his hand!

I'm in the entertainment business so I get to deal with what we call 'talent' aka actors and actresses , both faces and names and the 'creatives' aka writers, directors et al every day. From experience I'd say my favourites who make up my dream team of people I know to work with are along with their imdb links they are Ben Cross http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0002027/ he is a very funny and sweet guy who does not mince his words but will do anything he can to help you. Bruce Campbell http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0132257/ is funny and quite business like but really cares. A really good mate of mine is Neil Schell http://neilschell.com/ http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0770734/ who I am desperate to get over here to film in Ireland. Then you have Terrance Mann http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0542994/ and http://www.ibdb.com/person.php?id=68216 he is an amazing talent, I say that as an 'Ecole Francais' and 'Contemporary' schooled ballet dancer as well as being trained in musical theatre Terrance Mann does really deserve a “we're not worthy” especially when you here him sing 'In My Life' http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rnLB_wZv8wY or when he sung 'Stars as Javert in Les Miserables.

There is someone also on these boards who has been a pit singer in Les Mis and he is also someone else I admire.

I've met a few random celebs (mostly american in NYC).

Khloe and Kourtney Kardashian - reality tv stars....met them at a book signing in NYC, so obviously they had to be nice to us. But they were really lovely, gorgeous...I was completely star struck for that one. They said they love the Irish accent! Weren't allowed to take pics though :(

Geri Halliwell - spice girls of course....Well, my experience with her wasn't so great. She completely ignored me and my little sister when asking for a pic and her security man pushed my hand away when I went to tap her on the shoulder to ask her for the pic again...I had my camera in hand turned on ready to take one so would have only been a second or two...and there wasn't anyone else asking her for one so wouldn't have caused any trouble

Avril Lavigne - singer....this was at an event so didn't talk to her or anything but got a picture with her, and she was sweet enough to stop for that so...she's nice in my book lol

Brody Jenner - reality tv star....was with Avril at the event and stood back to let her take the spotlight but also took pics with his fans and chatted for a little bit to us....he seemed really chilled out and nice

Natasha Bedingfield - singer....watched her perform and she took pics with fans afterwards, had such a cute accent and was really friendly

Janice Dickinson - model....she was surprisingly nice and let me and my friends take pictures with her

Aubrey O'Day - singer/reality tv star/on celebrity apprentice US....She was an absolute doll, took pics and talked to fans like she really wanted to be around them. She interacts with fans so much on twitter too...love her

Russell Simmons - Def Jam record label founder....didn't exactly talk to him as it was at an event but he did take pics so that was cool

David Blaine - magician....was raising money for Haiti in times square and took pics with fans and did tricks on us...he was strange and distant (all part of the act?) but seemed nice

Chiddy Bang - rapper....he hopped down into the audience after a performance and talked to fans and took pics, really cool guy

Daniel Merriweather - singer....took pics with us, had a bit of back and forth banter with him about us being Irish and him being Australian...all fun :) kind of got the feeling he didn't like being recognised though

Met a few Irish ones as well...Brian Ormond (so so nice and handled an awkward situation well, one of my drunk friends at that time started slagging him asking was he in Westlife and this was around the time that he'd auditioned for pop idol...*face palm*) Mickey Joe Harte (ruuuude from what I remember, just seemed like he wasn't happy at all and didn't really want being in pictures...we were young and just excited to see a "celeb" back then)

Saoirse Ronan at a premier I was at last year. She's so down to earth!

    Niall Quinn - nice
Sinead O'Connor - lovely (it was years ago, before she got so mad)

Mickey Joe Harte - met him at an event
Jamie Oliver - same event, just saw him up close but didn't get to talk to him properly

Saw Ronan Keating with the wife and kids in Eddie Rockets a couple of years ago. They just seemed like such a nice, normal family and I never even flinched. If that was my 13 year old self I'd have needed paramedics :o

Bill Clinton, Gordon Ramsey and Eddie Hobbs in a hotel I used to work in. The men in black guarding Clinton were cool.
