Hello. My gas cylinder just ran out and I'm cold. I've never bought one on the south side before, and don't really want to have to go all the way over to Ballyvolane to buy one. Does anyone know anywhere near Douglas where I could pick up a cylinder?

    Cheers!

I'd say Woodies or B&Q would be your best bet; might be worth giving them a ring to see if they have the type you need.

Hope you got warm ! - for future you could try cork gas centre half way up Forge Hill. I've never bought the big bottles but they are very reasonable on the caravan bottles (& they are fully filled !!!) - its a flogas place so presume they do all sizes

Petrol station on the Rochestown Road have them. At least they used to. I assume a lot of petrol stations do them?
