Top notch. Went out of the room for a second and the noise from the crowd was so loud I'd assume Manchester had scored.:pac:

Gibson caught ball watching. Great goal. Stadium is dead.

I always give the oppo, whoever they are, a chance when I see Gibson on the Man Utd teamsheet. :)

If he was at fault for the goal, he did well to put the ball into the box for the penalty.

Is anyone else really impressed by Fryers? I am to a point were id like to see him getting games in the league ahead of Evra.

I've watched him the Leeds and Aldershot games he looked good and he is looking good here too pacey strong and doesnt look out of place getting forward.

    How are Utd playing?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 792 ✭✭✭parc

Once again a penalty given to United at Old Trafford against a smaller team

Even though he pulled Macheda's shirt to knock him off balance when he had a shooting opportunity it's another example of referees being afraid of Fergie

Macheda could have defied the laws of physics and stayed on his feet. Would it have happened if it was in Crystal Palace's favour in the Utd penalty box? No it wouldn't, Fergie would have bent the laws of Physics and made the forward stay on his feet.

Just another example of how Ferguson controls physics to his advantage at the expense of other teams in the league

Took me a few seconds but the "defying the laws of physics line" put it in the sarcasm camp pretty clearly

Yes mate. I was being serious about Alex Ferguson being able to control the laws of physics.

I was not lampooning some opposing fans argument that "United get all the decisions"

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 3,071 ✭✭✭user2011

@ Mars Bar. Evra seems to have really went off the boil this past year or more, here we have a really good looking LB young and hungry and only giving him CC games seems unfair.

Wait, parc is a United fan?

If that's the case, then I apologise. Shoulda used some smilies!

Still, Fryers needs more experience first. Evra -> Fabio -> Fryers...
