UPC Modem Ethernet problem

    Hi, I have been on UPC for a year now and i failed to order a wireless router when I started. So I bought a netgear wireless router but failed to connect it to my modem. My modem is apparently undetectable by the router.

    After a few test I figured out that my ethernet port in the modem seem to be the problem. I think its broken or something. I have connect my desktop to the modem via usb and that works. Ive tried connecting my laptop via ethernet to the modem and no dice but the usb connection works.

    Can I get a replacement modem from UPC?

    I have the EPC 2203 model btw.
