    Sleet/Light snow falling periodically in Carrick-on-Suir and probably much of the surrounding area. It's still too wet to stick but it's quite cold so be mindful of anything freezing on the ground.

    Sleet/snow on and off here in Mullingar. It's not sticking though, it melts when it hits the ground/window/whatever.

    Cloudier with very yellow light here (near Drogheda). Nothing fallling, though. We had a flurry of big fluffy flakes earlier but that's all.

    Not impressively windy either.

    Nice heavy snow shower in Greystones earlier about 9, and another about 10. Second one was wetter and not as heavy, but it was lovely to see. :)

    Just drove from Sligo to Falcarragh. Extremely gusty with temperatures fluctuating between 0-3 degrees. Hail and sleet with a lot of surface water on the roads. In other words...a rotten drive:(

    Just home now in Letterkenny to find my station had recorded a gust of 93.6kph @ 12.18. Wind is chanelled between the houses, so it's not in the ideal location, but still... Greenhouse is still standing though.

    Absolutely brutal day in Letterkenny, constant driving rain, sleet and hail since about 1pm, wind is still very strong as well with extreme wind chill. Just had an awful 15 minute walk with hail blowing right into my face

    Lots of spot flooding about as well

    just home from work,highest gust today was 54mph at 11.33,gusting to 43mph now,temp 2.2,dew 1,press 979 rising slowly,just had shower of sleet
