Looking at the Met Eireann radar it seems like a huge streamer is streaming from Donegal Bay as far as Dublin.

It gets smaller and smaller as it crosses the country so we are only getting a dusting as the showers die out.

But it looks like Sligo is getting whacked! :cool:

Ha, ha... it's a fire pit, so good for a Christmas heatwave BBQ or toasting Marshmallows over in the freezing cold.... so I'm covered either way!

Its unreal how dark it is right now over Galway City,its like nightime at only 11.35am.There's a huge black cloud over the city right now but just some very light rain coming from it so far.The darkness is the thing thats weird though,im waiting for an owl to appear any second.

Another cool crisp day with blue skies and sunshine for the most part, ground all white this morning but looked more like hail than snow, still hasn't melted in the shade.

A year ago today since this happened, a foot of snow in about 15 hours!
