Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

id like to live long enough to turn into an old geezer like Hugh Hefner, still able to pitch a tent in his 80s.I reckon my chances of reaching that stage are quite good judging by family and relatives.

They really need to put up a great firewall blocking them at this stage. It's getting too much.

There's been times when I wanted to die after one of those.

You really are the worst ever for not multi-quoting. I've seen you do it numerous times.

    Anyways, I'll die aged 72 I reckon.

Any day now. I'm 61 and yesterday died many times on my 75km cycle. This madness must stop.

    93. That would sound about right except they didn't factor in my commute across London by bike, which threatens to get me killed most days.

Grandmother I take after is still going at 89, is still pretty independent and will be around a few more years yet, I expect.

Other grandmother lived to 87 and didn't die of anything inheritable.

Parents both in good health. I have a decent diet and take plenty of exercise, plus I'll have about 60 years of medical advances on my side compared to my grandparents.

Maybe I'll live to 100 if the taxi drivers learn to look where they're going.

I don't worry about it, by the time I'm old I should be finally be able to download my brain onto a USB stick and just wait for them to grow a new body for me so they can upload it.

Will probably still be some driver issues I bet.
