Hey. First Christmas in sligo town and wondering where is the best place to pick up a real Christmas tree?

Someone mentioned somewhere on Pearse road but didn't see any yesterday

Horkans have the best trees imo, but also the most expensive.

    Hiya,
I'm on the look-out for a real Crann Nollaig this weekend.
All the trees I've seen so far are really a) really dear (E50 +) & b) pretty darn awful.
Just wondering where I should be looking for a good value tree this year?

    Penneys €24 :D

But really, check over around Abbey Street car park, there's always a guy selling trees from the shed beside the Mace shop and as far as I recall both himself and the Fruit Shop across the road (Fergus Mc Gloin) were around the €30 mark last year. (I have an artificial tree and haven't got a real tree in years so apologies if my information is out of date.)

There is a man next to the playground in Coolaney. He has lovely trees and they are great value too.

Are the trees nice?, I saw the ones in Homebase and they're not nice.
    Whats the price range?

Got ours in horkans last night. They have 2price ranges 49.99 up to 6ft and 59.99 over 6ft. Very pricey but they have a great selection. Saw the homebase ones but they were too small

He lives beside the playground so he's around most times.
