Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Female vocalist needs band! South Dub/City

    I've just recently moved to Dub..
    I'm in my mid 20's, easy to get on with..

    Hanging to find a band to sing with.
    I have quite a diverse taste in music and am open to suggestions but I love singing jazz/blues..

    I sing mainly covers of Madeleine Peyroux, Patty Griffin, Dolly, Laura Marling, Imelda May, Leonard Cohen, Ella Fitz, Nina Simone, Dusty, Joss Stone, Eva Cassidy, Norah Jones, Janis Ian, Fredrika Stahl, Mazzy Star, Cass Elliot, Adele.. lots of others..

    I've sang with a jazz band before and loved it and all the feedback I got was great..

    I've been asked to sing at weddings but I don't have a band so potentially we could look at the wedding/funeral circuit..

    I know people love to find someone who can do a take on their favourite songs, like 'Real Love' 'Here comes your man' 'I only wanna be with you' etc.

    how mid is mid twenties,
    are you looking to join a band or start fresh, do some orginal stuff
    practice for a while try to find a sound or just do covers for weddings

    I'm 26..

    If the band played my type of music or something similiar I'd love to join!

    I've just been asked so many times in the last while about weddings and how there's a huge market for a certain age group/modern style..

    So, hoping I might find people on boards.ie!
