Julian Barnes - 'The Sense of an Ending' in paperback?

Does anyone know if this book is readily available in paperback?

I was in a major book retailing shop yesterday, hoping to pick up a paperback edition for around a tenner, but all they had was the hardback for €16.99.

I'm presuming that this novel was printed in paperback prior to it winning the Booker Prize? I can't help thinking that the major booksellers are taking the piss with this one.

The book only came out at the end of October, and the books will be in hardback first and then paperback.

Not a case of the publishers ripping you off (well, in pulling the paperbacks and releasing the hardback again: they would normally do it the other way around).
