I know its a bit late but would it be possible to add in post of the year because if we have poster of the year, we might as well have post of the year.

Best poster from the English Midlands who doesn't actually post any more, just lurks.

  • Registered Users Posts: 5,382 ✭✭✭Duffy the Vampire Slayer

I've been nominated! Time to prepare a speech.

I know its customary to thank people, but I achieved this through my own efforts so there's really nobody to thank. No, instead I'm going to list all the people who've really fecked me over.

And where is Deise now? Off working with Pygmies in the South Seas, while I'm getting an award for being a top poster.

I acto find it really funny that my beard, after so many years, still has the power of getting nominations :P

so at least I know that if I run for president I'll do better than Dana and have an awesome campaign song.

I just spent the last 45 minutes reading over the last 2 years of awards.
And laughing out loud aload. I'm not sure if thats just sad or shows how funny the awards are. I'd say both although some of the stuff posted is quite hilarious :P

After some discussion me and Aoibheann decided it would be best to leave this award out. In reality, while I know it's meant in a light humoured way, you never know how someone is going to take it and I personally feel it's better left out. We shall be thinking of a different award to take it's place though.

Edit: Or what she said ^

Nice to see you are all thinking of people's feelings now. :P

Lets face it, the shorter you are, the less of a human being you are.

Aoibheann is the tallest person I've ever met. True story.

Mod power going straight to your head, I see! :)

It will never make you tall though... :P

Lets face it, the shorter you are, the less of a human being you are.

And conversely, the taller you are, the more human you are! But what if you had - hypothetically speaking - an infinitely tall dude/ladyperson? Surely you'd consider someone of such omnipresent stature to be some kind of god? But logically, they'd also be the most human it is possible to be... more human than human, to quote the great 20th century philosopher Rob Zombie.

    Good Sir? You've just been conundrum'd. :D

I have one day off next week. It's Wednesday which is jizzlers day.

I'm considering this to be fate an mean that I'm going to win all the awards, even the ones I wasn't nominated for.
