Hi, I'm considering a postgrad in physics. My degree result was a pass and i'm wondering would i be better doing a hdip first or trying to get straight onto a msc program? I'm looking at both taught and research options.

I'd imagine the recent cut in funding for postgraduate maintenance grants might decrease demand for masters courses, so I'd say apply for the masters in lots of different uni's first, if u get turned down then go do the hdip.
