A few hints. No major details.

    On Twitter they claim:
MORE International Calls, MORE Local Calls and MORE 3G Data than anyone else.
    Good luck matching that claim.

On their website there is a clear focus on 3G data and international calls.

On Twitter they have said the details will be available "soon".

How could they ''offer more data than anyone else''
    3 offer AYCE data!
Also another network on 3 as a MVNO i can only see this ending badly.

Actually, if you read their terms and conditions they say its 15gb and if you use over that they reserve the right to restrict your usage. ;)

Yeah but it really is unlimited data as it doesn't stop even after they slow you down and if they do is another thing i've never had it slowed down nor anyone else that i know that is on 3.

They could start enforcing it more now that MVNO is about to set up on their network.

Who else is on 3 as a MVNO? This is the first one that I've heard of...

Also when are they going to start service?

Seems like an age since the claimed to be "launching soon"

They have been testing for a while, I bet they have run into testing issues.

According to an updated article on Prepaidmvno.com, More Mobile Mobile will launch in "Q1 2012".

I guess this means before March 31st.

I wouldn't expect too much from them anyway, same people involved as the highly successful just mobile.

did anyone here actually get a call about the beta testing that time? Looks like they were just gathering our info, they will prob use it for marketing at some stage.

Perhaps, Mark O'Toole learnt a few lessons from Just Mobile.

Interesting that Mark has been working on a More Mobile launch since September 2011.

Nope heard nothing and I did register for the beta like others. Maybe they're busy finalising things. Who knows.

Maybe it's all just one big April fools day joke from 3, expect an announcement on Sunday lol

    Technical problems I bet.

They have gone very quiet of late.

Yes looks like they are gone very quite, 3 months since they said they were ready to launch and nothing so far.

Could also be they seen 48months offerings and can't compete with it. Also Blueface was launched in the last couple of months.

Different markets though... More were advertising more data calls and texts, 48 have no decent data tarif and blue face are only aiming at businesses

BlueFace have not gone 'fully live' yet either.

I suspect that there are problems with Three's 'white pack' MVNO solution.

They use the same solution in the uk though and have a few running on their network already

Absolutely. That does not mean that it is easy to repack the UK MVNO package for the Irish market. Different kettle of fish with some local complexities.

    No sign of Lyca either.

  • Registered Users Posts: 5,540 ✭✭✭JTMan

@SpongeBob - Are LycaMobile Ireland signed up to Three as well?

LycaMobile Ireland have been hiring in recent weeks in prep for launch. However, today Lyca UK announced a huge amount of redundancies in the UK.

    Are they up and running?
Here is a twitter from them today:

Customers in certain areas may experience issues with 3G data for a few moments this morning due to a network issue. DM if you are affected.

That tweet from More Mobile was out of the blue after zipo for weeks. Testing must be ongoing.

Considering how quick Lyca were to launch it sure is a long testing phase.
