upgrading graphics card

    Hi I'm looking at upgrading my graphics card the Sapphire Radeon HD 6870 has some good reviews and is recommended for light gamers would this be a good buy?

    Current hardware:

    ATI radeon hd 3600 Graphics card
    Motherboard is an asus p5n-d
    Intel Q6600 processor
    6GB DDR 2 Ram

    Yep, should do well for gaming. Make sure your PSU has the extra connectors you'd need, and the wattage.

    It's a great great card. It's something like 8800gt back in the day.

    I have my one on old pc hooked to 375w dell psu. Works perfect.

    With that card and q6600 you will be able to play almost everything on highish settings. I ran bf3 with all set to high, AA on low, motion blur off. 64 maps ran on 30+
