Work for technologists outside of Ireland? Where to go?

Any able to recommend anywhere outside of Ireland that is good for work, something challenging, cutting edge, interesting?

I've slowly been restoring my car over the past year, had a bit of work for a month here and there but really only here because I have to much time and money invested in my car and I really want to finish it. I know it sounds daft to some but it's something I can't leave behind unfinished hence why I'm slowly working away at it. It's probably keeping me sane as well...

I have been for a very long time been saying I want to go back to Holland and try and get a job over there. There are still jobs advertised over there, I'm very certain things aren't as bad as over here. I have friends and family there as well as speak the language and for the first time in a long time I have no commitments to keep me here. It's something I've been wanting to do for a while now, only now I'm starting to have a little bit of doubt

If not Holland, where else can/should I go or do you recommend? I doubt I'll be returning to Ireland in the future, Holland maybe but probably not here. Oh and I'd like to bring my car, she's not for sale!
