Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I have a couisn who owes me money and i will never get paid and seeing as he is a welder i was going to get him to do some welding for me. I am thinking of getting him to make a 2 axle car trailer. HAs anyone ever done this. I will be able to price all the material and hitch easily enough. the only thing that i think may vbe difficult to get is the axle. would one from a car n a scrap yard do? what about the springs?

    price it very very carefully.

even using scrap wheels and hubs from a garage you'll end up spending the price of a decent second hand trailer.

rear hubs from many front wheel drive cars can be adapted to suit and you hook up the handbrake cables for braking. you're as well off to buy proper trailer springs, they're not expensive and will actually be up for the job.

dont do it unless you're going to do it right.
