FIFA 12 Skill level still showing as 1 online

I've played numerous online matches in the ranked lobby and setup my EA account so I'm just wondering why my skill level is still showing as 1? After I win a game and it goes up, I'm at level 12 or 13 but its still showing in the lobbies as 1. How can I get it to show as what it should be?
