Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Forgive my ignorance; in what way was the scheme funded before now? Were funds provided to hire language teachers, or some other way?

Good move imo. More time needs to be spent on the basics of English first, although by now I'm sure you all know where I stand on that one

It was funded as a pilot project and meant to be rolled out to all schools. DES paid for teachers.

It's been a pilot project for quite a while now though hasn't it?

l + n. Unbelievable. When I was in primary school the teachers taught Maths and English. I thought these were still key subjects at primary school level?
