Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

They're not supposed to be funny, they're supposed to be entertaining. But they're neither.

I don't think Fair City is funny. It's crap.

    Wait... It's not a comedy???

One liners. There's a guy on Mock the Week that does them.
Not funny, it doesn't mean you're a comedian, it means you've memorized a bunch of one liners.

Milton Jones I'd say. I don't mind him at all.

I forgot the main one! Jimmy Carr. I just don't get him! Fair enough he's quick, but every joke he has ever told I've heard before, in real life. And it was funnier then.

Little Britain:mad: One bit of tacky humor after another. It also paints a very bleak picture of the UK even though it is a beautiful place for the most part.

Brendan O'Connor 90% of the time . . .he was excruciatingly bad with those German jokes about a week ago. . .

Little Britain has been mentioned. . .I'd like to take this opportunity to concur. . .

Brendan O'Carroll. Not Funny. At All.

The Liveline Friday Comedy crew. . .terrible stuff. . .(then again, I'm not sure anyone finds them funny)

Sarah Silverman might have the best comic timing of any stand up ever. Shes a future legend.

No, just about one of the unfunniest comedians on the show. His timing is abysmal.

Everytime there is a bit of banter going and he comes in with a crappy one-liner, usually only vaguely related at best, it just kills the topic dead. Cue nervous/sympathetic ha-ha laughs from guests and panellists.

    Other mentions go out to;
    The Office (UK and US)
    Curb your Enthuasism
    The Royale Family
Little Britain (had one or two moments but generally muck)

I'll tell you why. It's because he isn't funny.

For some reason people get carried away with some things and feel that they should be saying something's cool, hip or funny when they're clearly not cool, hip, nor funny.

Are you basing this opinion on seeing him on panel shows or actually seeing him live?

I've seen him do nearly 2 hours of mostly ad-libbed live comedy that was bordering on genius.
