Really enjoyable if I do say so myself! Lots of new faces. Same time and place next week. I'm going to be more disciplined next week, and if I don't know a word in German, I'll try to look it up on a dictionary (good free app here). It might save us a protracted outbreak of English :o

I enjoyed Wednesday night - - relaxed and easygoing.

Won't be able to make next week though.

This might be a silly question, but how will I know where to sit down?

Will there be a big flag?

    Hi Tremelo,

can you please give me any advice for starting up a similar group for the French language in Cork City.

Do you have to arrange with the venue before arranging to meet up there, or do you just get together?

Where did you advertise apart from Boards to let people know the group is meeting?

    Thanks.

Every Wednesday from 8pm in the Bodega (usually just inside the door in the Stube)....
If you are interested in friendly German conversation, feel free to join us.
Newcomers are welcome, with any level of German.

It's good fun - you really don't need to have good german. We usually have a mix of native speakers, Irish people and non-native non-irish :D

it's just general chat, nothing too high-brow.
