I stumbled across this artist by accident. I was at an Aviation Enthusiasts fair in ALSAA a couple of weeks ago and there was a stall showcasing his Aviation Art. Some fantastic photographs and Aircraft profiles.

On his website he also has Irish Locomotive profiles which may interest some here. Might get an 071 print myself and hopefully a 121 class follows soon.

I have no connection with the artist or site btw, just thought some of you may be interested in it.

Norman Whitla is an NI based transport artist who does a mean range of paintings of transport subjects - trains, planes and ships. I don't whether prints are available but his originals would be worthy investments.

Debra Wenlock who has done various work for the RPSI is another superb artist - also no relation! :D

It shows what kind of enthusiast I've become when I couldn't even remember the name of this book - now out of print - but well worth tracking down a copy if you like Irish railway art. Lord O'Neill isn't related to me either but he might be something to Lord Lucan. :D

There are really beautiful pictures Judgement Day. I love looking at pictures of trains and their artwork. After never seeing these pictures before, any artwork looking at trains look amazing, particularly these ones above.:D

An idealised view of the railway from a postcard of recent origin from the strangely named "Irish Narrow Gate Trust" but using artwork by NI artist William Curran from a CIE poster.

Another recent acquisition which I picked up for a song while others were sleeping off their Christmas Day excesses. Dates from 1948 and looks very well framed. :D
