    Hello all,

I have a query i was hoping you could help.
I am looking at buying calves in Northern Ireland. I am farming in the South of Ireland. However, if i keep them for a year, will i be allowed to sell them in the marts in the South, or are there some laws which do not allow me to do so?
I plan to keep them for maybe a year of 2, before selling them again. I have heard from someone that i would be allowed to sell them in the factories only????

    thanks,

    Jo
