Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi,

I'm looking to enroll my son in some form of Martial Arts in the Naas area.

He's 4 years old, 5 in march. Is there a minimum age requirement?

Does anyone have any idea what would be the best kind for him to do?

Anyone have any experience with any of the instructors?

    Thanks in advance,

    :D

I can't recommend any place in particular, but at the age of 4-5 kids are usually taught gross motor skills and how to pay attention and take instruction. The actual martial arts style doesn't really matter as much as just finding a good school with a teacher that is good with kids.

Thank you for the swift reply.

We'll just have to go and see a few instructors and see how our son gets on qith him.

I wish there was a place I could do the karate, or whatever we decide on with him. I've always wanted to take it up. Seems like as good a time as any really.

    Thanks again :)
