The big name cat food manufacturers who supply the pouches of wet food have reduced the weight of the contents from 100g to 85g but have not adjusted the prices.

There has been no publicity about this move that I have seen but a potential consequence is that cat owners may be unintentionally under-feeding their cats if they are not aware of the change.

The supermarket brands ALDI / LIDL/ TESCO / DUNNES have net yet changed from the 100g measures, but I suppose that is inevitable.
