    Thought I was ordering the one we all know in the shops etc which is Spiced Rum.

    But got this instead

    i had a bottle gathering dust as well, until i made use of it in such a way that if i described how, it would be a breach of charter.. no matter what way you look at it, it wasnt nice

    I hope you are right.

    I love the spiced stuff, always mix it with Coke (or Club Orange - "super split").

    I didn't realise the the distinction when I got this stuff.

    I bought the Captain Morgan private stock for my inlaws, I've tried it in the states and its much nicer than the original spiced rum IMO...

    Super split is delicious!!

    Also, Tesco are selling the spiced one for 17euro a bottle :)
