we are a young family looking to buy a house in Celbridge.

Is there any estates you would recommend or stay well away from? We are looking at Ballygoran, Beatty, Castletown etc.

    Thanks

Welcome to Boards botanic, TBH I tend to stay away from threads concerning good/bad estates or areas as they could end up as slagging matches and also so called bad estates have some very nice people in them and the nice estate might have neighbours from hell, good luck with the search though and welcome to Celbridge if you make the move.

Celbridge is a nice place to bring up a family.

    Look around all the estates.

If you have a young family , bear in mind what sort of education you may want.

There is a CofI primary school across the river, and single sex girls primary in the village. If you want a mixed primary then Aghards is further out . So if you want a single sex school nearer the village may be better , mixed, then estates further up the Maynooth rd .

There is an educate together school on the Clane rd.

If you move to Celbridge , then welcome !
