Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi,

Not sure this is in the right forum so mods if it's not apologies in advance.

I applied for a refund of the Health Levy back in august and recieved confirmation that I would be recieving €X amount back. A cheque followed a couple of days later.

I put the check away and I said I would cash it closer to Christmas. Now that it's nearer to Christmas I went to get the cheque but it's gone!

My mam had a bit of a spring clean on saturday morning and I feel that the check went into the bin!!

I'm wondering how long would it be until I get a check re-issued to me? Providing that it hasn't fallen into the wrong hands and been cashed. Would I have it this side of Christmas?

Anybody have any advice or experience of such a matter. So annoyed it's unbelievable!

    Thanks.

Sorry to say I think you may struggle to get it sorted before Christmas, the cheque has to be cancelled and cancellation confirmed ( about a week at least I reckon ) , then new cheque issue will take another while.

All you can do is inform them at once but be aware that if you report the cheque as missing then if it turns up you cannot cash it.
