Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I realise the scheme is only a recent enough initiative but I am just wondering if anyone has obtained a permanent job from a Job Bridge scheme either from the company they did the internship or elsewhere? Just wondering how prospective employers view the Job Bridge scheme.

I started a Work Placement Program (the name of Job Bridge before the name change) in January in a financial services company in Waterford, and was taken on paid in September. More than anything, I was able to put a work-life balance routine into my life again as well as developing social circles (people in work, customers, potential contacts to further your career etc.)

I understand that this scheme is open to abuse and that, on principle, people should be given a wage in exchange for labour, but it looks good on the CV that you are willing and determined to get experience for free.

I hope it all works out for you,

    Shal
