check box up top highlights all on the row...

Above the list of messages it says "Show:All|Unread|From contacts|Social updates|From groups|Everything else".

Next to that is a tick box which will select all e-mails in that view.

If there are several pages to delete, then a "99 items selected. Select everything in your sent folder" message may appear - certainly it does with other folders.

Personally, I don't delete sent messages.
