Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

anyone familiar with aib as a personal banking customer?
are my branch likely to discuss specific reasons why (for example) an overdraft increase would be declined?

    thanks

    Not really.

They can just say you failed the credit score and hand you a flyer which would not explain it innrelation to your unique application.

If you already have an overdraft I would definitely call to Branch and ask to speak to someone to see why you've been declined. Most decisions are made in a Department, they look at everything as black and white, everyone's situation is different, they may be able to help. Branch staff are more willing to try and assist with getting lending applications sanctioned. They are more in tune with customers dealings.

They may be more in tune but they mightnt have any power to approve the overdraft
