Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    If I get a PS3 and 2 controllers, can y 2 kids play against each other on games such as:
    * Call of Duty 2
    * Need for speed - the run, and
    * Balltelfield - Bad Company 2
    I.e. one play station, no internet, 2 controllers.

    I am a newbie at this

    It depends on the game. Your best bet is to go into the shop and look at the back of the case. Shoot em ups are rarely two player but you'll find that racing and sports sims often are.

    A lot of emphasis with games these days is on online gaming.

    some shooters do have very good co-op and versus game types.

    I would suggest Boarderlands 1 and when it's out 2.

    On PS3 game it'll say on the box as below.

    players 1 = how ever many there can be playing offline 1, 1-2, or 1-4.

    network players 2-24 = how many can play online, can be upto 2-256
