Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Heat Cable for Frost Protection on Pipes

Anyone ever try the heat cables for frost protection on pipes.

There is an external system on Connaught Agri site which looks pretty good. Would be handy expecially in the milking parlour / dairy to keep pipes from freezing and I'm not talking about the severe frosts we got last year but even for more run of the mill type winter early spring frosts etc which would freeze up gear.

It attached to the outside of the pipes and just plugged in which is handy. I know other systems which require feeding pipes through the pipes.

Its expensive but might be worth it if it worked well. Anyone have it installed.

I've seen it on display in a few electrical Wholesalers. Didn't think it was too expensive but I guess it depends in the length of the run. I haven't actually seen it in use.
