The sad thing is, this is the work of their drastic changes already implemented. The game is beyond fixing at this stage. They acknowledged they made a complete mess of the game at launch but they've just continued to get it wrong with every update and "fix" since. I had such high hopes, and have the bloody collectors edition sitting on my desk but the truth is it doesn't deserve the Diablo name. Such a shame!

First time getting to Diablo - Not a perfect kill but it was still a clean one-shot. This really doesn't do the game any favours for me because while I was bored of it before, it being easier now just makes me even more bored. I doubt I'll even bother playing it again until there are some drastic changes or features implemented.

You do realise there are 10 more difficulty levels after inferno? On top of that you got infernal machine, which will twist your nipples off with your cheap ah legendaries.

It's not really a nerf, but more of a balance. People who just want inferno completed can do that now. Those who want a challenge have 10 extra levels of difficulty. So you can choose your Difficulty level according to your abilities. When your gear gets better, you can get in to more challenging level.

First Diablo 3 Expansion Pack

Reaper of Souls is the first expansion for Diablo III. Blizzard revealed a whole new act, a new hero called The Crusader and the act boss: Malthael.

What has been revealed so far, behind closed doors:

The expansion is called Reaper of Souls.
The new, playable, mid-range melee class is The Crusader.
The level cap is increased to 70.
The final boss will be Malthael, the angel of death.
Endgame, itemization and the paragon system will be updated.

Great, more diablo. Played 300h of it and will gladly play more in expansion. Its a shame about new added class. I was looking forward to necromancer, but I guess paladin will do the trick too.
I presume it will be released by the end of the december? Of 2016?

Diablo 3 broke my right index finger. It's been swollen, stiff and painful for weeks now.

Kind of. They are bringing in the mystic, so can re-roll bad stats on an item, making it bound to account.
New legendary stats making them actually useful to find.

Both of these, combined with the ability to craft best in slot items at the moment, means that the AH is kinda pointless to use.

The changes are pretty sick btw.

- Loot Runs are 15-20 minutes dungeons that are completely randomized.
- Legendaries has special abilities for class skills:
Wizard's legendary wand now has a greater chance of summoning Hydras

Has anyone seen this at a decent price. The negative comments have kinda dulled my interest in this but these changes seem to have pleased the community

Around Christmas time, a lot of shops sold it for €15. I picked up an extra licence for my brother, but now the prices have gone up a LOT.

Closer to the time of the expansion release, I would estimate that prices will fall a lot for the original D3 game.

Then again, you could always buy a used copy for cheap.

Might go back playing this when the expansion comes out, got it on release day, played it and finished it that day and did not play again after that, was really disappointed with it after all the hours I had put into Diablo 2.

Yeah, started playing Guild Wars 2 soon after that and did not go back, might give it a whirl again with the new changes before the expansion comes out.

I've started playing again levelling all classes and enjoying it. As someone else said, it's a little easier at the easier levels, which is fine. This was always Diablo, the game starts when you hit the highest difficulty.

AH though definitely ruined this game for me, was able to just buy a set to stomp through the difficulty level I was at. Granted it saves having to farm for days on end, it was still part of what made Diablo fun

Went to play this again after reading about the changes but forget about the authenticator I had on my battle.net account. The authenticator that was on a long ago sold iPhone. Now Blizzard want me to send them scans of my passport, I don't think I'll bother.

If you don't have the serial number from the old Authenticator you have to prove you are you. Legal reasons.

If you have the serial AND restore codes you can just clone the authenticator on to the new app.

I can say I've never played a hack 'n slash game on console so i couldn't tell you how its going to play.

I'd say watch out for reviews and then make up your mind on if you'd play it on console.

The game is as deep as you want it to be really...
